The Timing of Perfection

DREAM BIG!  How many times have you heard that?

How, exactly, do you do it?

This is how I consider big dreams:

Dream big, but keep in mind that your potential is so much bigger.  Focus your energy on expanding into the Ultimate version of you.

Idea # 1:  Creativity is your birthright as a human being.

You are a marvelously creative being!  You are worthy of this wonder simply by being born. The artist within you flourishes when you engage in some form of creative work each day.  Yes, I call it creative work, because there is no place where we are not being creative. Whether you are a dancer, a cabinet maker, or a short order cook, your creative approach to your work makes a world of difference. Creativity is what converts work into play.

Each one, Reach One…

Begin each day embracing the Elegant Art of Appreciation.  A mindset of appreciation naturally leads to gratitude.  Gratitude naturally leads to kindness, compassion, and spreading the love…

Idea # 2:  You will never run out of potential.

Ultimately, you will realize many aspects of your potential, but you will not realize it all.  It is important to consider your personal development as a work in progress.

I consider it this way: An elegant mind is always arriving.

Just when you think you’ve arrived, you’ve only just begun.

Engage your elegant mindset by realizing your potential each day.

The beauty of your personal vibe is always revealing itself in effervescent expression.

This is the inherent loveliness in life.

Idea # 3:  Values are the navigational points that lead to your potential.

Nil Eyal, author of the book, Indistractable, says, “Values are the attributes of the person you want to become.”

Who is the person you dream of becoming?  Do your values align with the Ultimate version of you?  Look around you. What do you observe?  Are you living in line with those values now?

I find it useful to keep in mind that results don’t lie to me but I can lie to me.

Idea # 4:  Be Your Own Hero, or S-Hero

Matthew McConaughey, author of the book, Greenlights, speaks about the time he was asked, Who is your hero?  He responded (I paraphrase), My hero is me in 10 yrs.  He went on to say that he is always chasing the best version of himself.

McConaughey’s statement reflects his humility, his intelligence, and his personal elegance in a profound manner.

The only person you truly can change is you.  We can learn from others, certainly, but the only person you can truly emulate is the Ultimate version of you.

With this mindset, you are always arriving, because there is no finish line…not now and maybe never.  You will be always chasing the next best version of you…expanding into the fullness of your spirit…aka, your potential.

It is a wise practice to invest time in exploring your personal heroes and s-heroes.  Do they represent who you wish to be in 10 yrs?

Life is energy and energy is life.  Life is never done until you are done.  Keep your eyes on the prize.  The Ultimate version of you awaits your attendance to the items noted above.
