ARE YOU The ONE?

Like Neo in The Matrix…are you The ONE?

I think you are.

Are you The ONE who feels blessed? Who feels grateful for the gifts of life? Who shares their effervescent joy?

Are you The ONE who says nobody supports you? That nobody cares? That people don’t listen to you? Are you The ONE who feels like he never gets a break?

Who are you if you are not The ONE who doesn’t get what she deserves?

Are you The ONE who deserves something better?

Consider it like a selection process, with everyone you meet automatically having the honor of being The ONE.

If you feel that nobody supports you – double down on your support to others. You have a voice that can encourage. You can be there when they need you. That is all that it takes to make them The ONE.

If you feel that nobody cares for you – double down on caring for others. You can show up – love shows up. You have hands that can hold theirs. That is all that it takes to make them The ONE.

If you feel that nobody listens to you – double down on listening to others. You have two ears. They have a voice. That is all it takes to make them The ONE.

If you feel you never get a break – double down on giving a break to others. You can uplift or you can condemn. Others show you to yourself. That is all it takes to make them The ONE.

The ONE does not mean the only one. When you think like that, you ARE the only one. Then, one truly is the loneliest number that you’ll ever do.

Double down. For as long as it takes. Even if it takes years.

Why? Because we humans can be stubborn ones. It may take years to understand that what you give to others you also give to yourself.

Think of it this way…you may discover what happy people understand…and why they say one plus one equals ONE.

What have you got to lose? At the very least…you will no longer be alone.

Are you The ONE? I think you are….

What do you have to show me today, my Teacher?
